Each session is designed around the principles of KJ Skating Intelligence™ — developing mind-to-muscle connection, creating efficient neuromuscular movement, and reinforcing mechanics until they become second nature.

FAQ

  • What is the Player Partnership Program?

It’s a structured training model built around private and semi-private lessons with exclusive athletes. We focus on building movement patterns, developing mind-to-muscle connection, and creating neuromuscular habits that transfer directly into game play.

  • How is this different from camps or drop-in lessons?

Camps and drop-ins are short-term. This program is long-term and progressive. By training consistently with the same athletes, we can build layer upon layer — refining mechanics, strengthening posture, and improving reaction speed instead of just running through drills.

  • How are the sessions structured?

The program is broken into seasonal blocks:

    Fall Session – September–October (6 weeks)

    Winter Session – November–December (6 weeks)

    2026 Session – January–March (10 weeks)

    Spring Session – April–May (6 weeks)

  • When and where are lessons held?

Training runs Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday mornings, at Shakopee Ice Arena.

All skaters train one day per week during their assigned time slot. Each session is 45 minutes.

  • Who is this program for?

Athletes who are serious about developing their skating through consistent work. This program is best for players who want to train with focus, build efficient mechanics, and translate movement directly into their game.

  • How many athletes are accepted?

Spots are extremely limited to protect the quality of coaching. Each semi-private group is kept small (2-3 skaters), and private sessions are 1:1.

  • What is the payment breakdown?

Private Sessions (1 skater, 45 minutes)

    $112.50/session

    Example: $675 per 6-session block

    Semi-Private Sessions (2 skaters, 45 minutes)

    $80/skater/session

Example: $480 per skater, per 6-session block

    Semi-Private Sessions (3 skaters, 45 minutes)

    $65/skater/session

Example: $390 per skater, per 6-session block

  • What happens if a session is canceled due to weather or rink closure?

If training is canceled because of weather, rink closure, or other unforeseen circumstances, a make-up time will be offered during an “off” week.

  • What is the refund policy?

All sessions are non-refundable. This program requires a full commitment to the session block.
