Summer Seminar Series
What to Expect
Summer is where habits are built (or rebuilt).
KJPS summer seminar series brings focus to building intelligent movement habits, improving skating efficiency, and preparing athletes for the demands of the upcoming season through intentional instruction, structured progression, & small-group coaching.
āļøIntentional Structure
Each month follows a clear training focusāfrom technical foundations in June, to game-speed application in July, to pre-season execution in Augustāso athletes understand why they are training a certain way and how each phase builds on the last.
āļøSmall Group Environment
Groups are capped at 12 skaters so each athleteās learning remains individual and intentional. The small-group environment allows skaters to progress alongside peers while still receiving the individualized coaching needed to build skating habits that transfer seamlessly from practice to real game situations.
āļøSkill Meets Understanding
Training is built around how athletes actually learn. Rather than relying on mindless repetition, skaters are taught to understand how edge pressure, alignment, and body awareness influence speed, balance, and control. By connecting movement to intention, athletes develop stronger neural patterns that transfer more consistently from practice to real game situations.
āļøKJ Skating Intelligence⢠Support
All skaters receive access to the KJ Skating Intelligence⢠Classroom, an online learning space designed to support how athletes actually learn and retain movement. Short teaching videos, visual cues, and guided concepts help skaters better understand what theyāre working on, revisit patterns between sessions, and reinforce efficient habits.
June Block
June is dedicated to developing stronger skating mechanics through controlled, technical training.
Theme : Build the Base.
Focus Areas :
Alignment & posture
Edge awareness & foot mapping
Balance, control, & stride efficiency
Confidence & consistency

What is Included
KJ Skating Intelligence⢠Skool Classroom
Summer participants receive access to the KJ Skating Intelligence⢠Skool classroom, which includes:
Short teaching videos aligned to monthly themes
Graphics of foot mapping, pressure cues, & other concepts
Reinforcement between training sessions
Off-ice exercises to work on outside of on-ice training
Full Summer Commitment
For athletes looking to maximize progress, a full summer option is available at a slightly reduced rate, allowing skaters to build, apply, & execute skills across all three training phases.
